Epilepsy affects 1 in 50 children, 1 in 100 adults. In the United States approximately 3 million people have epilepsy with 200,000 new cases diagnosed each year. In North Carolina, approximately 80,000 people have epilepsy. One in 10 of us will have a seizure at some time in our lifetime. An affiliate of the national Epilepsy Foundation.  It is supported solely by the generosity of the community to serve families affected by epilepsy.
