At the heart of ADF’s education programs is the Six Week School (6WS). Dancers from across the country and around the world come to train, create, see, and be seen. In 2016, the ADF School welcomed 368 student dancers from 19 countries and 39 states. Our comprehensive program is one of the oldest training grounds for both professional and aspiring young dancers and continues to integrate a full spectrum of classes and workshops in a wide range of modern dance techniques and related areas. The curriculum provides pathways into historical dance approaches as well as new concepts that are shaping the future of modern dance.
