A Helping Hand is a non-profit companion care provider committed to assisting seniors and individuals with disabilities maintain self-sufficiency, quality of life, and the highest level of independence.
Our mission is to empower, educate and support those who are and have been victims of domestic violence. To empower the mothers to protect the lives of their children and take back their lives, one day, one tear, one bruise at a time.
Abundant Hope is a beacon of light in the community. We partner with local organizations such as Interfaith Hospitality Netwok (supports the homeless) to spread hope throughout the city of Durham and the broader community.
Social isolation is a sad and true reality for many people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Arc of the Triangle has been providing support services and advocacy for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities since 1979. We, like you, are committed to assisting people to not only manage but to flourish.

The Augustine Literacy Project trains and supports volunteer tutors who provide free, long-term, one-to-one instruction, to improve the literacy skills of economically disadvantaged children.
