Help Me Support
The Triangle Nonprofit & Volunteer Leadership Center
Please join me in supporting the Triangle Non Profit and Volunteer Leadership Center during the 2019 Great Human Race!
Growing up, volunteering was always a very important part of my father, the late Rick Kaspar, life. Even as the President & Publisher of The Herald-Sun, he always made time for his family, church and being active in the community. As I went through school and college I was active in several different organizations, and decided to get even more involved upon graduation and continue to do so today, through a variety of interests. And, it’s even a part of my career as the Director of Community Relations and Executive Club at the Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club.
What attracted me to volunteering and serving on the board of directors with the Volunteer Center was the vast amount of programs and work they do in the community, both for volunteers and non profits alike. It’s a one-stop shop for ways to get involved in our community!
If you’re interested in getting involved, the Center can help you find the perfect organization. And, both on-going or one-time volunteer opportunities are available which makes it convenient to your schedule. Whether your area of interest is animals, hunger, or homelessness, or you have a specific skill set (painting, web design, etc) they can help connect you with an organization that NEEDS you!
Donate today to help us continue to strengthen nonprofits, promote volunteerism, and enhance community leadership. Thank you!
