I've been volunteering with Piedmont Farm Animal Refuge for almost 4 years! The Refuge is home to over 120 rescued animals that come from abuse, neglect, and abandonment cases. Not only does the Refuge provide a safe place for these animals, but they also provide education about the realities of animal agriculture. Because of the great work the Refuge does, I joined their board of directors last year to help spread their mission.
