North Carolina Center on Actual Innocence
Last October, the NC Center on Actual Innocence helped exonerate Willie Grimes, who spent 24 years in prison for a rape he didn’t commit. The Center hopes to raise $5,715 through the race, enough to cover its out-of-pocket expenses for Willie's case. You can read more about Willie's case here.
