When I walked into our Second Round Fitness program the other day, I saw a parent watching one of the youth working out in the gym and I asked her if that was her son. She turned to me with the biggest smile on her face, a look of both happiness and pride, and said “yes, this is one of the best things that has ever happened to him.” She shared that since he started the program his grades have gone up, he is doing well in school and he is really proud of himself. “It’s like we won the lottery!”
