Cheer me on for the Great Human Race, a 5K I will be participating in on March 25^th! I am raising money for the Ellerbe Creek Watershed Association (ECWA) because I support their mission of protecting and restoring the creek and connecting people with nature!  Living in the Ellerbe Creek watershed I benefit from the work that ECWA does, and greatly value the health and beauty of the creek and the inspiration it provides. 
The Ellerbe Creek Watershed Association protects habitat along Ellerbe Creek while restoring native ecosystems. They also work hard to connect people to nature through workdays, nature hikes, and youth programming – All in the urban setting of downtown Durham! Last year ECWA logged over 1,100 man-hours cleaning up the Ellerbe Creek watershed! Their education projects reached more than 400 children and adults with important information about the Ellerbe Creek and the environment right here in Durham!
