At the NC Works NextGen program we provide education and training opportunities that help youth and young adults hit the ground running in high-demand careers. Some of the services we provide are Job Placement: Access to part- or full-time jobs, internships, job shadowing and volunteer positions. Training: Gain industry-relevant certifications in Manufacturing, construction, Medical, IT and more. GED Prep: Earn High School Diploma by attending tutoring sessions with our instructor. Life Skills: Develop better relationships with yourself and others. Also, provide services such as, Career Readiness Skills, Money Management, and help Develop Leadership Skills.
