About CIS Orange:
Our mission is to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life. 

CIS Orange goes above and beyond afterschool programs. By combining tutoring with engaged learning in STEM, civics, creative arts, health, and entrepreneurship, our students are given a safe place to learn and grow. Our college readiness programs and in-school services ensure our students have a healthy start for a healthy future.

We are fortunate that we can say there is no charge this year to enroll in the program. Snacks and transportation are also provided at no charge, because of support from the towns of Hillsborough, Chapel Hill, and Carrboro as well as support from Orange County and a 21st Century federal grant.
 
We depend on the support of the community, and welcome donations to help our students stay on track and succeed in school.
