The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Durham (BGCGD) is a private, nonprofit organization dedicated to educating and protecting children while preserving the beauty and innocence of childhood. BGCGD serves 120 children every day through our after-school program, and over 300 during our summer camp and athletic programming. We aim to make a fundamental difference in the lives of all youth, but especially those who need guidance the most by providing a safe alternative for youth between the ages of 6 and 18.

BGCGD has been a steadfast champion for youth since 1939, securing the success of our children by offering quality programming focused on life skills and academic achievements. Charging no more than $10.00 a year, we give children the opportunity to learn and grow in a safe environment. This important service that BGCGD provides is not achieved alone. Only through a collaborative effort with local businesses, area charities, philanthropic groups and generous residents has BGCGD formed a network of champions for the most worthy cause of all; securing the futures of our children.
