I have been volunteering with Independent Animal Rescue for 5 years.

I have a foster cat - a hospice kitty named Bear who has a heart condition (hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, to be precise). He has lived with me for 4 years. When he came to me, I was told he could drop dead at any minute. But he's doing great! I'm sure he's still alive because of his two types of daily medication, which IAR pays for.

IAR is a fantastic organization that is 100% volunteer run. I'm impressed at how much IAR accomplishes with the limited resources it has. Your donation will go to support IAR's wonderful work with cats and dogs.
