Independent Animal Rescue
Raised: $600Remaining: $400
My dog, Atticus, came into my life through Independent Animal Rescue. I was looking for a rescue dog and Atticus looked perfect for me. We bonded the moment he first jumped into my lap. You can see that he is a snuggler. I am grateful to IAR for rescuing Atticus, without them, who knows what would have become of him.I have been helping IAR as a volunteer for about two years. The organization is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit made up of hundreds of volunteers-people who are extremely generous, giving their spare time to helping save dogs and cats. It really amazes me that this work is being done without a single paid employee. However, IAR has plans to expand and grow in the coming years, and that includes hiring a full-time Development Director. IAR also purchased a facility last year to serve as an office and spay/neuter clinic. The organization is taking big steps to continue to grow and these milestones require us to raise money. That's why I ask you for help.IAR rescued 228 dogs and 445 cats in 2019. That's almost 700 dogs and cats that may have been euthanized in shelters or left in dangerous or inhumane conditions, but are instead in homes, bringing joy to people. IAR also has a very active feral cat spay/neuter program that reached 1513 cats in 2019.This organization is very important to me because I see the impact they have. I ask you to please donate any amount you can to help IAR keep up its life-saving work!Atticus says THANK YOU!

I'm raising money for IAR because I see the life-saving work they do every day. My dog was an IAR rescue. This organization is making a difference for people and animals every day and currently runs on PURE VOLUNTEER power. They need to raise money to grow and keep up the work.
