I am fundraising for
Independent Animal Rescue
At Independent Animal Rescue, our mission is to rescue and provide safe and responsible care for homeless, abandoned, and abused animals. We believe that the welfare of animals is paramount and we strive to help all animals in need, through our service programs. We serve our community through the promotion of spaying and neutering for all companion animals, and the education of children and adults in the humane care of and respect and responsibility for animals on this earth.
Since 1995, this all-volunteer organization has improved the lives of animals by fostering cats and dogs until they find their forever homes and spaying/neutering feral cats and the pets of families who cannot otherwise afford it. We receive no government funding and we have no paid positions so we rely solely on the generosity of donors to be able to serve these animals. 100% of the money we raise goes directly to our rescue efforts.
Everyone can do something! Here’s how you can help:
The Great Human Race is hosted by the Volunteer Center of Durham and is a community fundraising event for nonprofit organizations. This year, the GHR will feature a 5K run and a 5K community walk on Saturday, April 22nd. Please spnosor me with a donation today and help me reach my $500 goal and help IAR reach our $30,000 goal.
Please help save a life by donating today—no donation is too small!
