Integrating writing instruction across the curriculum at AAD

The new 2014 GED differs significantly from the current version in that it includes writing tasks in all subject areas. We think this is a great improvement and have been busy this year piloting new strategies for introducing writing across the curriculum at AAD. We were very fortunate to receive some help in this area from Durham’s own Measurement Incorporated, who let us pilot their new NCWrite program in our Learning Lab.

We would like to continue subscribing to this program next year, support staff development activities on integrating writing across the curriculum, and introduce creative writing workshops for students as an elective activity. Can you help support our young writers?
