Fund mathematics instruction at all levels

In 2009, we introduced a research based math program in our Learning Lab that has dramatically reduced the amount of time it takes for students to master the math content of the GED. Cognitive Tutor does a great job helping students build visual modeling and step-by-step problem solving strategies. We’ve recently expanded our use of this excellent program to an online subscription version and added higher level course materials to better support our students as they prepare for college mathematics.

Help us fund our annual subscription costs for Cognitive Tutor, improve our lab support for students with gaps in their understanding of basic numeracy concepts, and purchase math manipulatives for our kinesthetic learners.
