On March 28, The Durham Literacy Center (DLC) and its Race To Read! team will participate in the Great Human Race to raise funds to support our mission. Every year the Durham Literacy Center provides services to over 600 students, giving them skills and confidence to take control of their future.

I work for the Durham Literacy Center and see first hand how much learning to read or learning English can turn a person's life around. As a lover of books myself, I can't imagine life without the ability to read a street sign let alone my favorite book.
