Help Durham seniors remain healthy and engaged by joining the
 Senior PharmAssist team for the 2020 Great Human Race!

Senior PharmAssist is participating in this year's Great Human Race in Durham on Saturday, March 28, 2020, and we need your help. Our program is working to provide one-on-one care to more than 2,500 neighbors this year, but we have to raise the funds to make that happen. You can be a difference-maker for seniors.

Our goal is to raise $1,000 through this year's 5k race. That amount would enable us to do ANY of the following: 

-- Help 3 seniors pay for a year's worth of needed medicines
-- Work closely with 5 participants to help them use their medications safely and effectively, throughout the year
-- Help 11 Medicare beneficiaries to make informed decisions about their health and drug insurance
-- Or help 75 older adults access other resources, such as Medicare subsidies and food assistance

After participants work with Senior PharmAssist for two years, they decrease their hospital use by one third!

More than ever, Durham seniors and their families - especially those with limited incomes - are counting on us to provide them with reliable information, face-to-face care and to amplify their voices in the public policy arena. Thus, we must turn to individuals and organizations who are “invested in Durham” to help us fulfill our commitment to older adults.

As a member of the Senior PharmAssist Great Human Race Team, you can:

Walk, run or roll in the race on Saturday, March 28
Early bird registration is $30 for runners and $10 for walkers, plus a small processing fee. Be sure to list Senior PharmAssist as the nonprofit you are supporting. To register, click Register Now and if you register as a runner, enter the promo code "SPA20" to provide our program with a $5 donation from after-race proceeds! We also receive 100% of all gifts made through this page.

The race starts at 9:30 a.m. at Durham Bulls Athletic Park in Durham.
