I'm working to end violence in my community....
Durham Crisis Response Center
I started volunteering with the Durham Crisis Response Center in 2003. Now I am the Coordinator of Durham's Sexual Assault Response Team, managing a multi-disciplinary team dedicated to creating and improving victim-centered services for anyone who has been a victim of sexual assault in Durham. The Durham Crisis Response Center plays a key role on that team, advocating for victims at the hospital, with law enforcement, with the justice system, and with our agency partners. DCRC needs your support to continue to serve survivors, their families, and our community.
DCRC is a valuable asset in our community, providing vital services including emergency shelter, a 24-hour crisis line in English and Spanish, hospital response, support groups, and court advocacy. They also educate the community about domestic violence and sexual assault and promote prevention. Many other organizations and entities partner with DCRC to end violence in our community.
The Durham Crisis Response Center is an excellent organization that needs and deserves your support. Please donate today!
