Brogden Middle School is located near downtown Durham and serves 550 students from throughout the Durham Community. It's choir, band and strings department prides itself on taking students out of the building as often as possible to experience new and interesting musical opportunities in the city, state and nationwide. The BMS Chorus program has had students featured in National, State and Regional ensembles. They sing annually in Durham's All County Chorus, North Carolina's State Honors Chorus, Evening of Entertainment as well as Winter and Spring Concerts for the school and local community.
