Independent Animal Rescue

Raised: $230Remaining: $770

At Independent Animal Rescue, our mission is to rescue and provide safe and responsible care for homeless, abandoned, and abused animals. We believe that the welfare of animals is paramount and we strive to help all animals in need, through our service programs. We serve our community through the promotion of spaying and neutering for all companion animals, and the education of children and adults in the humane care of and respect and responsibility for animals on this earth.

Since 1995, this all-volunteer organization has improved the lives of animals by fostering cats and dogs until they find their forever homes and spaying/neutering feral cats and the pets of families who cannot otherwise afford it. We receive no government funding and we have no paid positions so we rely solely on the generosity of donors to be able to serve these animals. 100% of the money we raise goes directly to our rescue efforts.

Rescuing the animals is just the first step in their journey towards finding their forever home.  Together IAR helped almost 2000 animals last year, finding homes for approximately 500 cats and dogs and funding the spay/neuter of over 1500 animals - preventing untold numbers of kittens and puppies.

Below are some pictures of cats I fostered.
