Ronald McDonald House of Durham and Wake
ASCEND is Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc's signature program targeted towards high school students. In addition to college and career exploration, the program also introduces the students to community service. The ASCEND scholars decided that they would like to work together to make a difference in their community through the Ronald McDonald House. They will raise funds, participate in The Great Human Race, and collect aluminum pop tabs.
